Sugar maples cover the Appalachian mountains from Georgia to Maine. I’ve seen them in glorious autumn reds, oranges, and yellows. But fall here in Washington has a special quality. Kit figured out why. Our deciduous trees, mostly maples, turn against a background of dark evergreens. The contrast makes the colors more vibrant.
I couldn’t decide whether to post a red or a yellow tree against the green. So I combined two photos both from our yard. The yellow is looking out our bedroom window.
“Differences make you stronger as a couple . . . we teach “. . . because you bring different strengths to your relationship.” I think contrasts combined make nearly everything better. Chefs tell us that the juxtaposition of flavors can make a recipe remarkable. The best sports teams have players with different skills. Appreciate the contrasts you experience for a richer life.

Thank you, Drew, for amazing message about appreciation the contrasts which we are experience and which made our life richer. Our Lord is Author and Conductor of all these contracts in nature around us and deeply inside of us in our spirit and soul. Thank you for prayers about me and Nina and our ministry in Sacramento, Monterey and Bay area. Thanks for Art of Marriage in Russian. By the grace of our Lord we started to use this material in our Russian Bible Study group at my work. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. This week we have annual retreat with “Family Harmony” group from our church, you know most of them as far as they provided food services when you tought us in the “First Slavic Evangelical Baptist Church”. I’m going to present them your readiness to ministry us next year. It would be great if you sent us short Hello video for “Family Harmony” and I would present it during our retreat. You can sent us again list of seminars you provide in order for us to choose we need the most. For this time (since 2008) when you first ministered in Sacramento most children (7-8 years old) became young adults. Parents would love to hear some important for them from you as you taught in 2010 in another russian church in Sacramento.
